Parallels Between Healthcare Procedures & IT Service Delivery

Ever wonder what a Managed Service Provider has in common with an Emergency Room surgeon? Probably not, but I am sure at one time or another you made a medical analogy to what we do day in or day out. Just today, someone referenced onboarding a new Customer was like having elbow surgery. After PT the arm would be better than ever, but for now, it was going to be painful until the network was brought up to our standard builds.
